Lynne’s late father, Harold Rogers, attended Mayfield Central School in the 1930s and she is currently researching the history of the school. The complete photo is presented below in four sections.

Centre Right Section – Third row up, the third whole boy from the right is Ronald Green. Eighth from the right is his life long friend John Heseltine

I have a copy of this panorama and can name the following:
Left Hand Side: Twelve from left in front row is my uncle, George Calcutt.
Centre Right Section: The third whole boy from the right in the third row back is my father, Ronald Green, and the eighth boy along is his life-long friend, John Heseltine.
My mother, Edna Calcutt, was also a pupil at the school, although they did not meet until 1949 when they were both working for the telephone division of the GPO.
