I have recently gone electronic as they say and I happened to come across the Mayfield School website. What a surprise to see a lot of the old names.

I left the school in 1953 and began an apprenticeship in the print trade, then served my two years National Service in the Royal Engineers. I married in 1965 and moved to Ashford in Middlesex. I retired in 2002 and have finally got my head round this retirement lark.
