I was in Form 3X at the time and with two others from the same class were the only 3rd form boys on the trip. We had a list of instructions of ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’. One of them was to write a post-card saying that we had arrived safely at our destination (Hotel Verloop, Noordvijk-am-Zee) which I wrote at home and sent off from the hotel when we arrived. The photo shows the hotel with Mr Jackson, on the right. The two gentlemen, chatting to the lady, were probably the other two teachers who accompanied us on the trip.
