1964 Stephen Carey
My last two years at Mayfield I was in Harry Braham’s class. I hated all sports and was not much good at art. Belonging to the Radio Club, held in the Art block, was my means of survival. In 1973 I did actually get my Amateur Radio License (G4MJW) and some years later (1991) spoke to Harry Braham on the air from his QTH at Frinton-on-Sea. I never kept in contact with anyone after leaving Mayfield on the 29th May 1964, but used to see David Baskerville from time to time in his shop.
